The trade-in value of your car

Check one or more used car valuation services and estimate what amount your used car (in its condition) would sell for in a trade-in with a dealer.  The value depends on your car’s make, model and year, plus options, mileage and condition. See What’s your used car worth?

The trade-in value will be less than the private sale value. If you don’t enter a trade-in value, we’ll assume it’s 80% of the private sale value (but that’s probably not accurate).
